Bloom Season: May and June, they are open Wednesday through Sunday 10:00am-3:00pm
Off Season: July through April, you may visit the farm by appointment only
From their website:
“Our farm which was previously known as the Lavender Fields, has more than two dozen varieties of lavender on over 8 acres of land. We have a gift shop, we offer classes and workshops, as well as demonstrations of how we distill our own essential oil in our distillery.
We have been hard at work in the off-season between 2009 and 2010 to add additional facilities. Again this year, we are open to the public during the harvest season (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in May and June from 10-5).
For off season visits, or private tour during the week please contact Austine Jensen, Special Events Coordinator here at Keys Creek Lavender Farm.”
Personal Experience: I love visiting the Lavender Farms and this area of Valley Center in general. You are a stone’s throw away from the Yellow Deli and Morning Star Ranch which are both lovely places to visit. This is a seasonal experience so make sure to call ahead to ensure they’re open.
The lovely owner:
They have an adorable boutique with lavender-infused beauty products, honey and even lavender lemonade for purchase!
