About: The story of how Bio-Tique Wellness came to be is pretty inspiring. Co-owner, Joe Brown, was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma in 2005. He chose traditional western treatments which included chemotherapy and radiation. With the support of his family, he was able to beat the cancer in a year. Unfortunately, the treatments left him extremely ill, depressed and disoriented.
Implementing various holistic treatments he had learned during his time overseas while in the military, Joe began an holistic path of healing. After seeing great success with these treatments, Joe sought out to share his knowledge with others, hence the birth of his Bio-Tique Wellness!
His wife, Leah, also plays an interesting part in Bio-Tique as she is traditionally a licensed Nurse Practitioner. Beyond providing her clients with clinical services, Leah also believes in the power of taking an holistic approach. After giving birth to her third child, Leah began actively focusing on women's health with an emphasis on postpartum health. This has allowed her to help numerous women and families before and after childbirth.
Personal Experience: It will be my lifelong quest to explore all unique forms of healing. Dealing with my own autoimmune issues, I will always have a disadvantage of living a "normal" life. It can often feel like an uphill battle to keep my body from attacking itself. For that reason, I work extra hard to stay healthy. Having autoimmune also works to my advantage in some ways though because I can really tell when a treatment works.
By implementing proper diet, exercise, sunshine and treatments such as these offered at Bio-Tique, you will be giving your body a huge advantage at living a vibrant life long-term. They offer some really cutting-edge treatments. Poking around the rooms kind of feels like you're looking at NASA equipment or something out of a sci-fi movie!
I have become a huge fan of infrared saunas (serious bonus points when they include chromotherapy) as well as cryotherapy. Both of these treatments help to reduce inflammation, which is something we all deal with whether or not we realize it.
Diet, lifestyle and environmental toxins play a huge part in inflammation building in our bodies. Treatments such as what are provided at Bio-Tique help to combat inflammation. The evidence is how you feel when you leave.
Chromotherapy/ Infrared sauna (learn more here): Bio-tique saunas use infrared heat instead of hot rocks or steam used in traditional saunas. Traditional saunas heat the air at extremely high temperatures which can make the experience unbearably hot and difficult to breathe. Because infrared heats the body directly instead of simply heating the air, infrared saunas are seven times more effective for detoxification.
Ulevate VivaFacial (learn more here): The Ultimate VivaFacial is a remarkable full-feature treatment that consists of 5 advanced steps for healthy glowing skin.
It is non-intrusive, relaxing and innovative technology focused on the natural enhancement of skin health. The VivaFacial is an ultimate holistic treatment for anti-acne, anti-aging, depigmentation and rejuvenating facial experiences.
PEMF- (lean more here): PEMF stands for Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field therapy; using this specific process involves directing strong, pulsed energy waves toward damaged or injured areas of your body. These waves painlessly and quickly pass through the cells in the damaged area, raising the spin of the electrons contained within them as a result.
It’s this amplified electron spinning which restores the cell’s potential (its energy), regulating its volume at the same time. And, unlike some other forms of CAM, this positive mobile effect lasts for as many as four days after the therapy session has ended.

A glimpse at their red light therapy and infrared chromotherapy sauna rooms:
I tried the red light/infrared therapy and oxygen treatments in their Cocoon. You sweat a lot during your 45 minute treatment. I left definitely feeling revitalized after.
