Hello everyone! This is a friendly reminder that any of these fun places we may visit, we are a guest at. Please treat both businesses and trails with the utmost respect. We here at Hidden San Diego follow the 'Leave no Trace' mantra, meaning whatever you bring with you comes back with you. If you see trash on a trail, please do your part to help remove it. Remember, we are not picking up trash from another person but instead cleaning up for Mother Nature. Happy adventures!

For those who are getting bored of traditional hotels but can't get behind primitive camping, glamping is quite possibly for you!  Glamping, which is a blend of the words glamorous-camping, is such a fun and unique way to spend your vacation (or staycation perhaps)!

You get the rustic vibes of sleeping in a tent outdoors, but with the luxury of a cozy bed, mini kitchen, bathroom and most likely a ton of other sweet touches!  For instance, our bed had its own heater which felt sooooo nice as it got pretty cold the night we stayed.  I loved falling asleep to the sound of crickets and wildlife while feeling all cozy in our soft, heated bed.

The drive to the Bonsall Bell Tent Glamping property is where your adventure begins.  The windy green roads and sprawling views of the countryside are so beautiful.  I want to return to this area just to drive down all the roads and see what I can find! There is a castle across the street for instance!

Once you make it to the property you will be greeted by 3 sweet horses and if you're lucky, the owner's dog or one of her adorable cats!  This is a very friendly and happy farm!  Once I made it to the actual tent and peeked inside I was floored!

While you're in the area, make sure to check out Diane's Herbs nearby!

It was as spacious as a tiny house or large bedroom and had so many sweet details: a large bed with pillows for days, a futon, tea and coffee station, mini fridge, a shelf with books, a basket with games, a dresser and place to hang your clothes. Walking across the tent you then enter a second structure with a gorgeous bathroom filled with live plants. The owner definitely could be an interior decorator if she desired!

This is the perfect location to just unwind and be. It's quiet and tucked away so if you've been overly-stressed lately or just looking to escape, I recommend spending a night here! We didn't cook the evening we stayed but there is a grill and outdoor kitchen if you're interested.  We did take advantage of the propane fire pit while enjoying the sun set into the night. Hope to return one day!

The (semi) outdoor bathroom was so beautiful!  I loved all the live plants!

I loved the sweet animals!

And the views were spectacular!
