Fort Cross Old Timey adventures offers a ton of fun activities for all ages! Navigate through their (literal) lilac maze and go from station to station learning about San Diego's colonial days and different needed skills.
Personal Experience: What a blessing to have this kind of business in San Diego! I feel it really helps depict the vibes of Julian's early pioneer days that we all missed out on in real-life. The owners have done a fantastic job of capturing the essence of the old times with a variety of booths that will satisfy people of all ages. We learned how to make homemade apple cider & candles, throw tomahawks, shoot arrows & slingshots, vegetable gardening & composting. We even partook in a hoedown and hayride! There are many more things to experience as well and the activities change with the seasons.
The slingshot station looked cool and was a TON of fun!

Then off to the homemade apple cider station!
I would have to say that this cider is the best I have ever had! Nice and chunky too, as I feel juice should be to keep all the nutrients! Even more exciting to know we all helped make it!
