"The cemetery lies on a hill in the community of San Pasqual, just off State Highway 78. There were about 15 unreadable markers. Take the 78 into San Pasqual, and turn left onto a road immediately before crossing the bridge over Santa

Ysabel Creek. If you cross the bridge, you've missed it. The cemetery is easily visible from the highway, and is often referred to by the locals as "Cemetery Hill"."

This cemetery is one of the earliest burial sites for pioneers in the area. There are possibly some buried here from the San Pasqual battle as well.

Personal Experience: This place is easy to miss. When you're heading east on San Pasqual Rd., you will pass the Safari Park, the San Pasqual Battlefield and right when you're heading to the bend that leads you to Ramona, that is where it is.  Look to your left and read the directions above.

Please come here with respect, as many of the people buried here still have family members that regularly visit.  There are still new people being laid to rest

here too.
