Hello everyone! This is a friendly reminder that any of these fun places we may visit, we are a guest at. Please treat both businesses and trails with the utmost respect. We here at Hidden San Diego follow the 'Leave no Trace' mantra, meaning whatever you bring with you comes back with you. If you see trash on a trail, please do your part to help remove it. Remember, we are not picking up trash from another person but instead cleaning up for Mother Nature. Happy adventures!

From their website: "Our tree tents in Laguna Mountain is located deep inside the Cleveland National Forest by the Big Laguna Lake Trail. This mountain is one of the highest peaks in San Diego county at over 6,000ft elevation. It features some of the biggest and densest concentration of forests in the region.

This is a remote and beautiful campground away from it all. Each tree tent can accommodate up to 3 people (880lbs) and we can combine a few for larger groups. Your tree tent comes with sleeping pads, single or double sleeping bag, pillow, and lighting."

Personal Experience: Alter Experiences definitely offers next-level, futuristic camping. We arrived at night and were greeted by what looked like these glowing, green space pods. It truly felt like an other-worldly experience.

Sleeping in one these tree tents is kind of like a weightless, no-gravity experience. You are in an up-scale hammock, except with a thick, comfy sleeping bag & pillow and you're completely enclosed which makes you feel safe.

I absolutely LOVE that we didn't have to put anything up or take anything down.  It was already done for us saving us lot of time and room in our car. There are solar-powered lanterns and small lights hanging in the trees giving it such a dreamy feel.

The next morning we cooked some tasty food and then did a short, but stunning, hike a few minutes away at Foster Point.  I highly recommend people check out Mt. Laguna if you haven't yet!

We made spiced wine (at the already set-up kitchen) and sat around the campfire soaking in the moment:

The next morning we finally got to see our surroundings! We came in early November when the leaves were changing colors.

Josh actually slept outside in this large hammock!  I was way too cold to even consider doing that!

Here is where all the tasty food and warm drink concoctions were prepared.  It comes stocked with everything you need to cook, including spices.  You just bring your own food!

You better believe we grubbed before heading out on our hike!
